  • A 50% cancellation fee will apply to Mobile services cancelled within 24 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Cancellations on the day of your appointment will be charged the full amount of the service.

  • A $10.00 cancelation fee will apply to all appointments unless otherwise specified.

  • We use the Dolce Glow Senza Sole Solution for the ultimate Golden Glow.

    Ultimate Hydration: Formulated with 7 compounds of Sodium Hyaluronate specifically blended to nourish the skin for ultimate hydration. The enhanced HA compounds lubricate the skin and can help to reduce water loss maintaining a protective barrier to dehydration.

    Enhanced Peptides: The formula has 2 amplified peptides that have the ability to boost collagen production and can help recover the firmness of the skin lost with aging. These enhanced peptides can help plump, lift and brighten skin, for a radiantly smoother, youthful glow!

    Minimal Wash Off: The new Senza Sole Pro Solution is formulated with a lighter golden bronzer resulting in minimal first time wash off. What you see when your spray tan goes on will be very close to what the end result will be, even after your first rinse off.

  • Our expertise goes beyond a traditional spray tan. We've been trained in  advanced sunless contouring, under shading, and airbrush techniques to enhance and define your natural features, giving you a sculpted, flawless glow. Through our SKJ certification, we've mastered how to customize each tan based on individual skin types and undertones, ensuring the most natural, even result. We also have specialized training in bridal spray tanning, understanding how makeup, lighting, and photography impact your tan so that you look radiant from every angle on your big day. With our knowledge, we tailor each appointment to bring out your best features while keeping your skin healthy and hydrated.

  • At Golden Glow Bay Area, we aim to provide a seamless and flexible experience for every bride. To ensure that we meet your unique needs, we have a few policies and additional fees in place. These include charges for early start times, late start times, and holiday bookings, all of which are designed to accommodate the varying schedules and demands of your wedding day. We believe in transparent pricing and will always communicate these fees upfront so that there are no surprises, allowing you to focus on enjoying the process leading up to your big day.

    Early & Late Start Fees:

    • Between Midnight - 5am: $500

    • Between 5am - 7am: $300

    • Between 7am - 9am: $200

    • Between 9am - 11am: $100

    • Between 7:30pm - 9:30pm: $100

    • Between 9:30pm - 11:30pm: $200

    If you are booking for a group, only 1 early start fee will be applied to your booking depending on the start time as listed above.

    If you or anyone in your group is more than 10 minutes late to their appointment, a late start fee of $75 will be applied to your booking.

    For all group bookings, everyone booked must be present at the start of the appointment time to begin. We will not wait for anyone to arrive after the last person has completed their spray tan. Late start fee and cancellation policies will apply.

    Last Minute Time Change (Same-Day Only): $75

    Last minute time change are only permitted to be changed to a different time on the same-day of your originally booked appointment, pending availability of our artists. Same-day cancellations are subject to our Standard Cancellation Policy.

    If you have a group appointment booked, there will only be 1 late change fee applied to your booking.

    Holiday Season Rate: $625

    A premium rate is applied to all bookings made during holiday closures: All Federal holidays as well Valentine’s Day, Easter, depending on availability, day before July 4th , July 4th, July 7th (founders birthday), Halloween, Christmas, Christmas Eve, Day after Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving.

General FAQs

  • Please exfoliate at least 24 hours prior to your Golden Glow. Please refrain from using any heavy exfoliating oils. After showering, DO NOT apply lotions, oils, or perfumes. Waxing and shaving should be done at least 12 hours before your appointment. Streaks may be an issue in your final tan if you shave right before due to the wax from the shaving bar. No chemical hair removals. Manicures, pedicures, waxing, laser hair removal, should all be done prior to your spray tan. Make sure to wear dark, baggy clothing for after your appointment.

  • Absolutely NO soap.

    A really slow rinse with lukewarm water is recommended. Use your hands to remove the bronzer, and focus your attention on your legs, behind your arms, etc.

  • Wait 12 hours AFTER your initial rinse before applying any kind of lotion.

    Moisturizing is important to prolong your Golden Glow. Moisturizing twice a day will give you the best results. Stay hydrated – drink lots of water throughout the day.

  • After your spray tan is completely exfoliated away and taken its course, you can get another one! Although after a month of consistent tanning, you must take at least a 2 week break from spray tanning.

  • Yes, you can.  Dolce Glow solutions do not contain any UV protection or sunscreen. Please apply SPF protection when in the sun. You will still be able to develop a tan naturally in the sun.

  • Yes, it will remove majority of the tan and/or lighten it. Seawater, chlorine, and hot tubs can accelerate the fading of the tan. Wearing a waterproof sunscreen can help repel the water.

  • Before/ after: dark baggy, loose clothing

  • No, Dolce Glow is unscented.

  • It is recommend to consult with your physician first. DHA is FDA approved and only penetrates the outermost layer of the skin. There is no evidence that DHA is harmful.

  • You need to be completely healed. Do not spray tan with healing/open wounds. For tattoos, yes, you can spray tan, as long as the area is completely healed.

  • For sensitive skin, we recommend scheduling a patch test prior to your Golden Glow.

    A waiver will need to be signed prior to your spray tan if you have eczema and/or psoriasis, and please consult with your dermatologist.

    If you use retinol and/or are acne medication please consult with your dermatologist prior to scheduling your spray tan.

  • It is recommended to schedule your Golden Glow at least 2-3 days before your event to leave time for your first rinse off of bronzer and allow for the DHA to fully develop. Although you will see your customized glow, it takes a full 24 hours to see full results after application.

  • It is not recommended to not work out for at least, 16 - 24 hours. No hot pilates, yoga, spin classes, running, or anything that breaks a sweat or involves hot temperatures. Avoid tight fitting clothing as well. Additionally, it is recommend to have an additional rinse prior to working out. This will wash away any remaining bronzer – which is the cosmetic portion of your spray tan.

  • The length of your spray tan depends on the maintenance afterwards.

    You may notice fading after about 4-7 days. Moisturizing and staying hydrated are two important factors to support the length of your tan.

  • No, you will always be golden, never orange. We use the highest quality solution, Dolce Glow.

  • NO, we will not spray tan over a recovering sunburn.

  • Yes, as long as there is room for our spray tan tent and an outlet to plug in our equipment.

  • Our pricing in all inclusive and accounts for travel time.

  • Clear is bronzer free, translucent, you will see full development at 24 hours, same skin loving ingredients as the bronzer solution, Senza Sole. Rapid application does not mean rapid tan, rapid is when you are able to rinse off the solution of your choice (minimal bronzer or clear) at an earlier time of 2-4 hours. You will still need to wait 24 hours for full development. All solution options can be applied as rapids.

  • Golden Glow will discuss the occasion you are spray tanning for, will evaluate your hair color, skin tone, eye color, skin type and we will completely customize your tan, unique to you. It is not recommended for brides to choose rapid as an option.

WEDDINGS

  • It is recommended to get a trial spray tan at least a month before your big day, so we can create a perfect custom match for your skin tone, and develop the depth of tan.

    For your Wedding Day tan, we strongly recommend scheduling your appointment for 2-3 days before the big day.

  • Bachelorette party, engagement photos, wedding dress shopping, bridal shower, and your honeymoon are some of the events that can be scheduled around your trial tan.

  • ALL beauty treatments such as nails, waxing, shaving, facials, etc. must be done at least 24-48 hours in advance. Your Golden Glow should be the last appointment scheduled.

    Laser facials needs to be done 2 weeks before.

    Please consult with your beauty team before scheduling your spray tan.

    Continue to follow aftercare instructions given to you in your follow up email. Please tag or mention all wedding vendors and beauty artists involved on your wedding day, on your social media posts. Let the other vendors know who was involved as well so they can credit.   • Golden Glow uses Dolce Glow Senza Sole, which has minimal bronzer, or Senza Sole Clear, which has no bronzer.

  • Golden Glow can accommodate up to groups of 12. If scheduling a group, all tans must be at the same location. We have 2 tents available if you have enough space and 2 people can be sprayed at once. One tan can take up to 30-45 minutes.

  • You can book on our website your next tan 7-10 days after your spray tan. Make sure your tan is fully exfoliated before your next one. After one month of consistent spray tanning, it is recommended to take a 2 week break from spray tanning.
